Short answer: Brampton has three GO stations, all on the Kitchener line to Union Station: Mount Pleasant in the northwest, Brampton downtown and Bramalea in the southeast. The most affordable homes near a station are around Brampton GO and Bramalea GO, where community averages run from about $650,000 to $790,000. Around Mount Pleasant GO the homes are newer and average about $900,000.
Near Mount Pleasant GO
Mount Pleasant Village was built around the station, with a civic square, a library and townhomes within walking distance. The subdivisions around it are among the newest in the city.
| Community | Average price | Sales | Days on market |
|---|---|---|---|
| Fletcher’s Meadow | $895,788 | 106 | 21 |
| Northwest Brampton | $907,289 | 132 | 24 |
| Credit Valley | $1,134,852 | 88 | 27 |
These three are also among the busiest and fastest-selling communities in Brampton, so good homes here do not sit. New freehold townhomes are being built further northwest, from $629,990.
Near Brampton GO (downtown)
The downtown station is the oldest of the three. The neighbourhoods around it are established, with older detached homes on mature lots, semis and some condos.
| Community | Average price | Sales | Days on market |

| Community | Average price | Sales | Days on market |
|---|---|---|---|
| Southgate | $724,766 | 35 | 25 |

Not on the train line
Fletcher’s Creek South, near Hurontario and Steeles, averaged $720,333. It sits beside the Brampton Gateway Terminal, where the Hurontario light rail line now under construction will end. Züm express buses also run along Queen Street, Main Street, Steeles Avenue and Bovaird Drive and connect to the GO stations.
What commuters should check before they buy
- The real door-to-door time. Drive or walk to the station at the hour you would actually leave.
- The schedule at your station. Train frequency is not the same at all three, so check the current GO timetable.
- Parking. Station lots fill early. A home within walking distance or on a direct bus route is worth more to a commuter.
- Noise. Homes that back onto the rail corridor are cheaper for a reason. Visit when a train passes.
