What this means
At every budget, Brampton puts you one step up the ladder: a townhouse where Mississauga offers a condo, a semi where Mississauga offers a townhouse, a detached home where Mississauga offers a semi. Mississauga buys location. Caledon buys land, but only from about $700,000 up.
These results come from individual transactions and averages, and every home is different. For the detail behind each city, see Brampton vs Mississauga, Brampton vs Caledon, Brampton house prices by neighbourhood and how much down payment you need.
